Shivangi Joshi: Television Star on the Cusp of a New Project
Shivangi Joshi, a prominent figure in the Indian television industry, recently sparked rumors of a potential reunion with her former collaborators. The actress, known for her captivating portrayal of Naira in Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has been making headlines with speculation of her return to the small screen alongside her former co-star, Mohsin Khan.
In a recent interview with Telly Masala, Joshi addressed these rumors, expressing her enthusiasm for a possible reunion. Of course! If this happens, it would be so wonderful. Rajan sir and DKP are like family to me, she said.
The speculation arose after Shahi posted a photograph of Joshi and Khan, the on-screen couple from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, together on his social media. Joshi's response to the picture was enigmatic: You will all know when it happens. However, she clarified that she was not privy to any official news at the time.
Joshi made it known that she is currently engrossed in a web series project but remains open to exploring new television opportunities in the future. If I come across good shows, I'll definitely sign on, she said.
Beyond her potential return to television, Joshi has also been the subject of media attention due to rumors of a romantic relationship with her Barsatein-Mausam Pyaar Ka co-star, Kushal Tandon. Despite the actors' denials, fans have eagerly supported the idea of a blossoming romance between them.
After her breakout role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Joshi has appeared in various television shows, including Balika Vadhu, Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka, and Khatron Ke Khiladi 12. However, none of these roles have reached the same level of fame and popularity as her portrayal of Naira.
Both Balika Vadhu and Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka had relatively short runs before being taken off the air. Joshi's participation in Rohit Shetty's stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 was also short-lived, as she was eliminated after a short stint.
