Batting Rankings:
India's Smriti Mandhana, a formidable batter, has dropped one spot to the fourth position in the ICC Women's ODI rankings, with 738 rating points. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur, on the other hand, has made a significant jump of two places, landing in the ninth position with 648 rating points. Mandhana's consistent performance against South Africa, where she amassed 343 runs in the three-match series, helped her maintain her position within the top 10 batters.
South Africa's Laura Wolvaardt, a rising star in the cricketing world, continues her ascent towards the summit, leaping three places to secure the second spot in the rankings. Her exceptional performance against India has brought her tantalizingly close to the top-ranked batter, England's Nat Sciver-Brunt, trailing by a mere 16 rating points. Wolvaardt's unbeaten 135 in the second match of the series and a solid 65 in the final match have solidified her position as one of the most formidable batters in the ODI format.
Her South African teammate, Marizanne Kapp, has also made strides, climbing two spots to the seventh position on the list of ODI batters. Jemimah Rodrigues of India has also made her presence felt, rising four places to the 29th position after some commendable batting efforts against South Africa.
Bowling Rankings:
In the ICC Women's ODI bowling rankings, South Africa's Nonkululeko Mlaba has made significant progress, moving up five places to the joint 22nd position. Her impressive performance against India, where she claimed four wickets, has fueled her rise in the rankings.
Sri Lanka's Kavisha Dilhari and Udeshika Prabodhani have also made their mark. Dilhari's exceptional bowling against the West Indies, where she captured seven wickets, has propelled her eight places up to the 34th position. Prabodhani, her Sri Lankan teammate, has also moved up six spots to the 22nd position, showcasing their growing prowess in the ODI format.
India's Deepti Sharma, a reliable all-rounder, has maintained her fourth position in the ODI bowling rankings, with 671 rating points.
