Tragic Shooting Spree Ends with Suspect's Suicide
A man suspected of fatally shooting five people and critically injuring a teenage girl near Las Vegas ended his life by suicide on Tuesday, as authorities closed in on him.

The North Las Vegas Police Department identified the suspect as 47-year-old Eric Adams. They believe he carried out the horrific shootings in separate apartment units on Monday night.
Initial reports led officers to an apartment where they discovered two deceased women, one in her early 40s and the other in her late 50s. As the investigation unfolded, they were alerted to a critically wounded 13-year-old girl who had been transported to a hospital.
Further investigation revealed the presence of more victims in a nearby apartment, where officers found the bodies of two women in their mid-20s and a man in his early 20s. All five victims had sustained gunshot wounds.
Manhunt and Confrontation
Adams became the subject of an intense manhunt, with authorities issuing a warning that he was armed and considered dangerous.
On Tuesday morning, police received a tip that the suspect had been sighted at a business in North Las Vegas. As officers approached, they observed Adams armed with a firearm and attempting to flee into the backyard of a nearby home.
Officers pursued Adams, ordering him to drop the weapon, but he refused and fatally shot himself.
