'The 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka witnessed an active participation from the Kannada film industry, with actors, producers, directors, and other prominent figures making their presence felt in the democratic process.

Actor Dhananjaya KA shared images of himself and his family exercising their franchise, urging followers to do the same with a simple yet impactful message: 'Vote without fail.' Actor Prakash Raaj used his platform to encourage citizens to vote for change, highlighting the power of their individual voices.

Ex-cricketer and current coach Rahul Dravid was spotted patiently waiting in line to cast his vote in the city, while actor Rakshit Shetty traveled to Udupi to fulfill his electoral duty. Actor Ragini Dwivedi shared a heartfelt caption after voting, expressing the empowering nature of the act and emphasizing the significance of every single vote in shaping the country's future.

Other actors who actively participated in the voting process included Meghana Gaonkar, Radhika Narayan, Suraj Gowda, Shwetha Srivatsav, Samyuktha Hornad, and Aindrita Ray.

Actor and host Ramesh Aravind, who was chosen as the Bengaluru District Icon for Elections 2024, cast his vote at 2:30 pm, while many others turned up at polling booths in the early hours of Friday.

This year, 2.88 crore citizens in Karnataka were eligible to vote among 247 candidates. Despite challenges such as slow queues and rising temperatures, the voter turnout was impressive, reflecting the state's commitment to the democratic process.
