'At the esteemed Dinanath Mangeshkar Natyagrih in Mumbai, Randeep Hooda received the prestigious Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award for his exceptional contributions to Indian cinema, particularly for his portrayal in 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar.' Taking to social media, he expressed heartfelt gratitude for the honor.

Hooda shared his emotions upon receiving the award via Instagram, posting photographs from the ceremony where he was bestowed the accolade. The images captured moments with Amitabh Bachchan, who was also recognized at the event.

In his caption, Hooda expressed profound appreciation, acknowledging the significance of receiving the accolade from the Mangeshkar family, who embody artistic excellence for generations. He highlighted the connection between the family and Veer Savarkar, the subject of his film.

Hooda's post meticulously detailed the profound bonds between the Mangeshkar family and Savarkar. He mentioned how Deenanath Mangeshkar was involved in both the production and performance of one of Savarkar's plays, and his advocacy for inter-caste reforms initiated by the revolutionary leader.
