Fahadh Faasil, renowned for his captivating performances in recent blockbusters like Aavesham, has recently shared his candid views on being labeled a pan-India star.
During a conversation with Anupama Chopra of Film Companion, Faasil voiced his opinion on this newfound status, stating, Pushpa would change me, Pushpa would take me to a different level... No, I don't believe that. I'm just an actor here, I have nothing to do with pan-India.
Faasil further elaborated that he does not attribute his success to the mega-hit film Pushpa. He explained that he chose to work on the project solely for the opportunity to collaborate with director Sukumar. Faasil expressed his unwavering affinity for Malayalam cinema, where he has established his career and finds unparalleled creative freedom.
The films I do in Malayalam can never be done somewhere else, Faasil remarked, emphasizing the unique bonds he shares with his home audience.

Faasil recently starred in the critically acclaimed Malayalam film Aavesham, which explores the complexities of friendship and revenge. The film is set to make its digital debut on Prime Video in May 2024.
The versatile actor will reprise his role as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in Pushpa 2: The Rule, alongside Allu Arjun. He will also appear in the highly anticipated Tamil film Vettaiyan, starring none other than the legendary Rajinikanth, scheduled for an October theatrical release.
