In a recent turn of events, actor Sanjay Gagnani found himself at the center of a tabloid storm, with reports of an impending divorce from his wife, Poonam Preet, circulating in the media. These rumors stemmed from a cryptic Instagram Story posted by Gagnani, which he later deleted, fueling speculation about marital discord.
Breaking his silence on the matter, Gagnani vehemently denied the allegations, calling them all false. He expressed his initial shock and numbness upon reading the reports, fearing the impact on his wife. However, Preet, also an actor, provided solace, understanding the nature of such rumors within the entertainment industry.
We said, 'we both know that we are with each other, and we love each other. So, we don’t care what the world has to say about us', Gagnani recounted. They resolved to disregard the rumors and focus on their relationship.
Gagnani acknowledged that his Instagram post had been misinterpreted, leading to further speculation. He laughed off reports that he had consulted divorce lawyers, emphasizing the strength of his bond with Preet.
Reflecting on his career trajectory, Gagnani acknowledged that he has often been typecast in villainous roles since his departure from the popular TV show Kundali Bhagya a year ago.
But I am not surprised by it. That is just how the industry works, so I have no complaints, he said. Despite receiving numerous offers after Kundali Bhagya, Gagnani has been selective, refusing to accept anything less than exceptional roles.
Gagnani is currently gearing up for the release of a music video titled Raat Abhi, in which he not only stars but also serves as a co-producer. This project marks a step forward in his creative journey, showcasing his versatility and drive to explore new avenues.
