Domestic Performance Surge
Guruvayoor Ambalanadayi's third weekend in Indian theatres witnessed a commendable performance, amassing approximately Rs. 4.40 crore. Despite a 45% decline from the preceding week, the film's total domestic earnings have crossed the Rs. 50 crore milestone, reaching Rs. 52 crore in eighteen days.
Continued Strong Domestic Presence
Kerala, the film's home state, has played a significant role in its success, accounting for Rs. 43.80 crore of its earnings till date. The third weekend's healthy Rs. 4 crore revenue in the state positions it to surpass the Rs. 50 crore mark within the state. Additionally, Karnataka and Hindi markets contributed Rs. 4.60 crore and Rs. 2 crore respectively.
International Presence
Outside India, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayi has generated impressive revenues, grossing USD 3.90 million (Rs. 32.60 crore). Coupled with its domestic earnings, this brings the film's worldwide gross to Rs. 85 crore. Debuting in the top ten highest-earning Malayalam films globally, the film had initially aimed for a remarkable Rs. 100 crore milestone. However, a substantial international decline in the second weekend, attributed to the release of Turbo, set back its chances.
Approaching Significant Domestic Milestone
Domestically, though, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayi has maintained its momentum. Its journey has reached its end internationally, but its strong domestic performance is projected to propel it to around Rs. 95 crore.
