Lok Sabha 2024: Kangana Ranaut, Arun Govil among celebs contesting elections_

Kangana Ranaut: The Bollywood diva made her political debut with the BJP in her hometown Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Despite being a first-time candidate, she emerged victorious over Congress' Vikramaditya Singh.

Pawan Kalyan: The founder and leader of Jana Sena Party, Pawan Kalyan, brought joy to his fans by defeating YSRCP's Vanga Geetha Viswanatham in the Pithapuram elections.

Arun Govil: The iconic star of Ramayan, Arun Govil, contested from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on a BJP ticket. Initially trailing, he later emerged victorious.

Hema Malini: The veteran actress contesting from Mathura on a BJP ticket maintained a significant lead, leaving Congress candidate Mukesh Dhangar behind.

Shatrughan Sinha: The veteran actor and Trinamool Congress candidate, contesting from Asansol Lok Sabha constituency, West Bengal, held a comfortable lead.

Manoj Tiwari: The Bhojpuri superstar and BJP candidate, Manoj Tiwari, faced off against Congress' Kanhaiya Kumar, the former JNU students' union president, in the North-East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. Tiwari emerged as the frontrunner.

Ravi Kishan: Actor and BJP candidate Ravi Kishan, known for his captivating performance in Laapataa Ladies, held a strong lead in Gorakhpur.

Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua): Beloved Bhojpuri superstar Nirahua contested from Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, on a BJP ticket. While he initially trailed, he made a comeback later.

Dev Adhikary and Hiran Chatterjee: Trinamool Congress' Dev Adhikary and Bharatiya Janata Party's Hiran Chatterjee, both actors from the Bengali film industry, contested against each other in Ghatal constituency, West Bengal. Adhikary maintained the lead.

Locket Chatterjee and Rachana Banerjee: Bengali actors Locket Chatterjee (Bharatiya Janata Party) and Rachana Banerjee (Trinamool Congress) faced off in Hooghly. Debutante Banerjee held the advantage.

June Malia: Trinamool Congress candidate and Bengali actor June Malia, contesting from Medinipur, secured a substantial lead.

Satabdi Roy: Bengali actor and three-time Trinamool MP, Satabdi Roy, emerged victorious in Birbhum, defeating 11 other contenders.

Suresh Gopi: BJP candidate and Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi triumphed over Congress' K Muraleedharan and CPI candidate Sunil Kumar, winning in Kerala's Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency.
