School Spirits Season 2: Production Commences
Paramount has initiated production for the second season of the acclaimed drama series, School Spirits. Following the resounding success of its inaugural season, which premiered on March 9, 2023, the streaming service unveiled plans for a follow-up installment in June 2023.
Returning Cast and New Additions
The upcoming season will witness the return of the entire principal cast from Season 1. Peyton List will reprise her role as Maddie, joined by Kristian Ventura as Simon, Spencer MacPherson as Xavier, Kiara Pichardo as Nicole, Sarah Yarkin as Rhonda, Nick Pugliese as Charley, Rainbow Wedell as Claire, and Milo Manheim as Wally.
Josh Zuckerman, who portrays Mr. Martin, has been elevated to series regular status. Recurring stars Patrick Gilmore, Ian Tracey, and Maria Dizzia, who play Mr. Anderson, Sheriff Baxter, and Maddie's mother respectively, will also return.

Plot Details and Release
Showrunner Oliver Goldstick and producers Nate Trinrud and Megan Trinrud have hinted at compelling developments in the forthcoming season. We have lots of thoughts, stated Nate, while Goldstick jokingly interjected, We can't share them. We'll have to kill you.
According to Paramount, Season 2 will seamlessly pick up where the Season 1 finale left off. Maddie's journey to regain her stolen life necessitates alliances with both the living and the spectral realms.
While an official release date has yet to be announced, Season 2 is anticipated to debut in the fall. All eight episodes of Season 1 are currently available for streaming on Paramount.
