Munjya and Chandu Champion Witness Box Office Growth
Both Munjya and Chandu Champion experienced a surge in popularity over the weekend, with Chandu Champion witnessing a particularly striking 75% increase in earnings.
Munjya, currently in its third Saturday, amassed an impressive Rs 5.50 crores. Notably, this revenue surpassed its opening-day takings, reflecting the film's sustained audience appeal. Munjya's total domestic gross after 16 days stands at a remarkable Rs 76.65 crores, positioning it as the highest-grossing Hindi film in India for week 3 in 2024.
Chandu Champion also showed signs of resurgence in its second Saturday, collecting Rs 4.75 crores. While the film has faced challenges due to its slow start, it remains on track to reach a total earnings range of Rs 60 crore nett. Nonetheless, the release of Prabhas's Kalki 2898 AD within the next five days may limit Chandu Champion's momentum.
Despite its modest box office performance, Chandu Champion has garnered positive reviews and is expected to outperform several high-budget Eid 2024 releases.
