Currently gracing theatres with his film Ishq Vishq Rebound, a spiritual successor to Shahid Kapoor's 2003 cinematic endeavor, Rohit Saraf has added another meritorious achievement to his burgeoning career. The 27-year-old actor has garnered widespread admiration among youthful audiences for his captivating performances in romantic dramas, which have cultivated his heartthrob persona over the years.
Reflecting on his professional journey in a recent interview with ETimes, Saraf opened up about his artistic aspirations and the individuals who have inspired him.
Having spent over a decade in the entertainment industry, Saraf acknowledges the sense of fulfillment he derives from his accomplishments, while recognizing the room for further growth. It means the world to me, he expressed, acknowledging the ongoing nature of his artistic exploration.
Saraf's ongoing year has been particularly fruitful, as he has embarked on creative endeavors that resonate deeply with his artistic vision. Nevertheless, he remains grounded, acknowledging elements of trepidation alongside the exhilaration. One dreams and that's amazing but to live the dream, one needs courage for that, he remarked, underscoring the demanding nature of sustaining success.
Recalling the release of the original Ishq Vishq, Saraf revealed his youthful fascination with Shahid Kapoor's iconic performance. Having initially witnessed the film at age seven, he later developed a profound appreciation for Kapoor's contributions to Bollywood romance. I was obsessed with songs and how incredible a dancer Shahid Kapoor is, Saraf shared. It's actors like Shahid sir and Hrithik sir (Hrithik Roshan) who have inspired an entire generation to learn dancing.
Saraf's own artistic aspirations were ignited by the captivating performances of Kapoor and Roshan, inspiring him to pursue a similar path. I was among that lot and wanted to learn dancing after watching the incredible duo and aspired to become like them, he confessed.
