Kalki 2898 AD had a successful international debut, grossing $7.4 million in previews alone. By Thursday, the total international gross had climbed to an impressive $14-15 million.
The United States led the charge with $5 million in preview revenue, followed by Canada ($510,000), Australia ($310,000), and the Middle East ($650,000). Other Asian countries contributed $230,000, while the United Kingdom and Europe added $500,000 and $175,000 respectively.
This strong international performance, combined with a first-day gross of Rs. 102 crore in India, has propelled Kalki 2898 AD to the third-best debut for an Indian film worldwide. It now sits just above KGF Chapter 2 in terms of opening weekend earnings.
