Set in a dystopian future, 'Kalki 2898 AD' weaves a tale against the backdrop of the ancient Mahabharata. Prabhas embodies the titular character, Kalki, the enigmatic tenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
The film boasts a stellar cast including Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani. Additional notable performances come from Shobhana, Rajendra Prasad, Saswata Chatterjee, Anna Ben, and Chemban Vinod Jose.
C. Aswini Dutt produced the film under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies, while Nag Ashwin helmed both writing and directing duties. Santhosh Narayanan crafted the soundtrack, while Djordje Stojiljkovic captured the visuals.
Prabhas' Upcoming Ventures
Following the success of 'Kalki 2898 AD', Prabhas gears up for 'The Rajasaab'. The supernatural comedy has commenced filming in Hyderabad, with Nidhhi Agerwal joining the cast. T.G. Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibotla produce under the People Media Factory banner, with Maruthi directing and Thaman S. composing the music.
Prabhas also has two additional projects in the pipeline: 'Spirit', directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and 'Salaar', the sequel to the 2023 blockbuster directed by Prashanth Neel.
