International Box Office Success of Kalki 2898 AD
On July 27, 2023, Kalki 2898 AD achieved a new milestone by grossing over USD 20 million internationally, joining RRR as the second Telugu film to reach this benchmark within seven days of its release. The film has performed exceptionally well, surpassing RRR in total gross earnings after seven days, with USD 20.725 million (Rs. 173 crore) to RRR's USD 20 million.

In international markets, the United States remains the top-performing territory for Kalki 2898 AD, grossing USD 11 million and becoming the fourth highest-grossing Indian film in the country. It is also expected to overtake RRR in the US market.
Canada is the next best-performing market, with CAD 2.40 million, making it the highest-grossing Telugu film in the country, surpassing Baahubali 2. The release of the Hindi version in the Cineplex chain has significantly contributed to this success, as South Indian films have often faced limited distribution in substandard cinemas due to unfair practices in the industry.
The Middle East has also performed strongly, with nearly USD 3 million in six days. Australia and the United Kingdom round off the top five with AUD 2.75 million and GBP 1.10 million, respectively.
