'Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra launched a vehement attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, likening him to garrulous and complaining 'gyani uncles' at weddings. She dismissed the Prime Minister's accusations that her party planned to implement an 'inheritance tax' and redistribute wealth, terming them as illogical assumptions.

'Imagine if this 'gyani uncle' asserted that a political party intended to invade your home with an X-ray machine, scan your savings, seize your jewelry, and redistribute your wealth. Wouldn't you think he had lost his mind?' Priyanka Gandhi questioned at an election rally in Maharashtra's Latur.

Addressing the unemployment crisis, Priyanka Gandhi asserted that the country faced its highest unemployment rate in 45 years, with 70 crore people jobless. She criticized the government's failure to fill 30 lakh vacant central government posts over the past ten years.

'If the BJP claims that nothing was accomplished in the past 70 years (under previous governments), let us assume that IITs, AIIMS, and other major industries were all established during their tenure,' she said, adding that the ruling party was perpetually blaming the Congress for its own shortcomings.

Priyanka Gandhi's remarks came in response to Prime Minister Modi's allegations that the Congress aimed to confiscate people's jewelry and savings by conducting an X-ray of their properties. The Prime Minister had cited the example of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's will, which allegedly transferred half of her wealth to her son Rajiv Gandhi.

Priyanka Gandhi countered by highlighting the esteemed Prime Ministers India had witnessed, including Congress leaders and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and lamented that Modi had demeaned the office of the Prime Minister.

She also criticized the now-scrapped electoral bonds scheme introduced by the BJP, alleging that the ruling party subjected donors to raids by central investigative agencies. 'These raids ceased after funds poured in from these companies via electoral bonds,' she alleged.'
