Kejriwal's Scathing Attack on BJP and Modi

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a blistering assault on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, just a day after his release from jail on interim bail granted by the Supreme Court.

Addressing a press conference in Delhi, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) questioned the BJP's lack of clarity regarding its Prime Minister candidate for the upcoming elections. While the BJP keeps asking other parties about their candidate, I demand to know who theirs is, he declared.

Kejriwal also raised concerns about Prime Minister Modi's potential retirement in 2025, citing his upcoming 75th birthday on September 17th of that year. He highlighted the party's rule mandating retirement at 75, which had resulted in the departure of senior leaders like Lal Krishna Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Sumitra Mahajan, and Yashwant Sinha.

Kejriwal suggested that the BJP's plan was to first remove Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath from his position and then appoint Amit Shah as Prime Minister if the party wins the election. Modi is essentially seeking votes for Amit Shah, he asserted.

The Delhi Chief Minister urged BJP voters to recognize that their support was ultimately for Amit Shah, not for Modi. Who will deliver on Modi's promises? he questioned. Will Amit Shah fulfill them?

Kejriwal emphasized that voters should understand this before casting their ballots. You are not voting for Modi, but for Amit Shah, he stated, urging them to carefully consider the implications of their decision.
