In a rousing election rally held in the heart of Moti Nagar, Delhi's Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, made an impassioned plea to the electorate, urging them to cast their votes for his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. With an undercurrent of urgency in his voice, Kejriwal implored the citizens to save him from the impending threat of returning to Tihar jail.

Within 20 days, I will be forced to return to incarceration. However, if you bestow your mandate upon the 'jhadu' (broom, the electoral symbol of AAP), I will be spared this fate, declared the Chief Minister, who remains out on interim bail in connection with the liquor policy case.

As part of a dynamic roadshow, Kejriwal laid bare the reasons behind his arrest, attributing it to his unwavering commitment to the welfare of Delhi's populace. My sole offense lies in the construction of state-of-the-art schools for the National Capital Region. I was unjustly imprisoned for diligently serving you, the people of Delhi, he asserted with conviction.

Continuing his tirade against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the AAP chief fervently believes that the ruling party harbors an aversion to progress and development in Delhi.

Heightening the emotional appeal, Kejriwal recounted the ordeal he endured during his incarceration in Tihar jail. For a fortnight, I was deprived of my insulin injections, an essential medication for managing my diabetes. Despite advocating for accessible and affordable medical care for the people, I was denied the same basic provision while in custody, he lamented.

If I am forced back into confinement, the BJP will ruthlessly dismantle all the initiatives we have meticulously put in place – free electricity, improved education, revamped healthcare facilities, and accessible Mohalla Clinics, Kejriwal warned.

Flanked by his Punjab counterpart, Bhagwant Mann, Kejriwal led an enthusiastic roadshow through the bustling streets of Moti Nagar in support of AAP's New Delhi Lok Sabha candidate, Somnath Bharti. Earlier in the day, the AAP supremo unveiled Kejriwal ki Guarantee, a comprehensive manifesto outlining 10 transformative initiatives that will be swiftly implemented if the INDIA bloc assumes power at the Centre. Among these pledges is the resolute promise to liberate Indian territory from Chinese encroachment.

Polling for all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi is scheduled to take place on May 25, as part of the sixth phase of the electoral process.
