The illicit Sanjeev Mukhiya gang collaborated with cybercriminals to obtain and leak NEET exam papers, as uncovered by Bihar Police's Economic Offences Unit. Among the five suspects detained from Jharkhand were three cybercriminals. The authorities confiscated post-dated checks and SIM cards.
Sanjeev Mukhiya, whose son Shiv is imprisoned for involvement in the BPSC teacher recruitment exam paper leak, had allegedly lodged around 25 candidates at a boys' hostel connected to Learn Play School in Patna on May 4, the day before the NEET exam.
The candidates reportedly received the leaked question paper and answer sheets at the hostel. During the investigation into alleged irregularities, the police sought Rocky, Sanjeev Mukhiya's nephew, suspected of having connections to the paper leak.
